New Shoes - Nike Pegasus
I have been looking everywhere for a new pair of shoes, normally I run in Mizuno Wave Riders (the absolute perfect shoe!), but have been having a hard time trying to find somewhere that has my size in stock. The shoes I am wearing now are really past their time and are starting to give me grief. I have had the current pair since April - normally I would have chucked them 3 weeks ago, it was pushing it wearing them for Gold Coast marathon' but I cannot wait any longer. My knees and feet are getting sore, and I feel every step as the concrete hammers on my bones as the cushioning is gone.
So I have gone for a pair of Nike Air Pegasuses. I have had some success with these shoes before, and they are pretty cheap too. I don't like the weight, they feel heavy, and the last pair I had didn't last very long, and they do not seem to fit quite as well as the Wave Riders. I have been doing a little reading on the web and found a lot of people say the Pegasus wear slowly - which is contrary to my last experience with them. Hopefully they will do the job for a month or so until after Townsville and after Rebel gets the Wave Riders in.
Went for an 8km run in them yesterday, they seem pretty comfy. It was a relief to have some decent cushioning. Maybe they might be ok, and I can save some money by switching to them more permanantly.

Hey Lady, I may know someone who can get you some Wave Riders (I have a pair coming my way as we speak). I misplaced your email address so please email me.
